USBRL Project: Tunnel 49- Strabag
Project Description: Integrated Tunnel Ventilation, SCADA, and Fire Fighting System Installation
1. Project Overview:
This project involves the installation, and commissioning of a robust tunnel ventilation system, a sophisticated SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system, and a comprehensive fire fighting system. The objective is to ensure safety, operational efficiency, and real-time monitoring capabilities within the specified tunnel infrastructure.
2. Mechanical Work - Tunnel Ventilation System:
- **Jet Fan Installation:** Positioning and mounting of high-efficiency jet fans at strategic locations to ensure adequate airflow and ventilation control throughout the tunnel.
- **Axial Fan and Dampers:** Installation of axial fans and motorized dampers to manage air movement and pressure differentials within the tunnel.
- **Ventilation Ducting:** Fabrication and installation of robust ducting systems to distribute airflow efficiently across the tunnel network.
3. SCADA System Implementation:
- **Automation Racks:** Installation of automation racks housing PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMI (Human-Machine Interface) panels, and communication modules for centralized control and monitoring.
- **Network Racks:** Setup of network infrastructure including switches, routers, and servers to facilitate data communication and integration across the SCADA system.
- **Termination and Cabling:** Precision termination and cabling work to establish reliable connections between field devices, automation racks, and network components.
- **Remote I/O Integration:** Deployment of remote I/O modules for seamless integration of peripheral devices and sensors into the SCADA network.
4. Fire Fighting System Installation:
- **Fire Suppression Equipment:** Installation of fire extinguishers, fire hydrant systems, and other fire suppression devices as per safety regulations and tunnel specifications.
- **Smoke Detection System:** Integration of advanced smoke detection sensors and alarm systems to ensure early warning and rapid response capabilities.
- **Emergency Lighting and Signage:** Deployment of emergency lighting systems and clear signage to guide tunnel users during evacuation procedures.
