The project involves the installation, testing, and commissioning of Auxiliary Sub-Station (ASS) equipment at seven (07) Switching Posts (SP) and Sub-Sectioning Posts (SSP) under the Overhead Electrification (OHE) system of Indian Railways (USBRL).

The scope of work covers:

Erection of OHE Structures

  • Erection of complete BM,AT masts, gantries, and auxiliary structures at designated SP/SSP locations.

  • Installation of insulators, brackets, and cantilevers for supporting 25 kV OHE conductors.

  • Stringing, sagging, and regulation of OHE conductors where required.

ASS Equipment Installation

  • Erection of auxiliary transformers, LT panels, battery chargers, distribution boards, and protective devices.

  • HT/LT cabling works including laying, termination, dressing, and ferruling.

  • Earthing, bonding, and lightning protection as per specifications.

Electrical & SCADA Integration

  • Connection of ASS and AT equipment with the 25 kV OHE network.

  • Testing of protective relays, control circuits, and interlocking schemes.

  • Integration with SCADA/Remote Control Center for monitoring and control.

Testing & Commissioning

  • Electrical testing of OHE structures, ASS panels, and auxiliary transformers.

  • Functional verification of BM and AT circuits under load conditions.

  • Commissioning of complete SP/SSP installations in coordination with Railway authorities.

Documentation & Handover

  • Preparation of as-built drawings, test certificates, and operation manuals.
