The project involves the installation, testing, and commissioning of Auxiliary Sub-Station (ASS) equipment at seven (07) Switching Posts (SP) and Sub-Sectioning Posts (SSP) under the Overhead Electrification (OHE) system of Indian Railways (USBRL).
The scope of work covers:
Erection of OHE Structures
Erection of complete BM,AT masts, gantries, and auxiliary structures at designated SP/SSP locations.
Installation of insulators, brackets, and cantilevers for supporting 25 kV OHE conductors.
Stringing, sagging, and regulation of OHE conductors where required.
ASS Equipment Installation
Erection of auxiliary transformers, LT panels, battery chargers, distribution boards, and protective devices.
HT/LT cabling works including laying, termination, dressing, and ferruling.
Earthing, bonding, and lightning protection as per specifications.
Electrical & SCADA Integration
Connection of ASS and AT equipment with the 25 kV OHE network.
Testing of protective relays, control circuits, and interlocking schemes.
Integration with SCADA/Remote Control Center for monitoring and control.
Testing & Commissioning
Electrical testing of OHE structures, ASS panels, and auxiliary transformers.
Functional verification of BM and AT circuits under load conditions.
Commissioning of complete SP/SSP installations in coordination with Railway authorities.
Documentation & Handover
Preparation of as-built drawings, test certificates, and operation manuals.
Training Railway personnel on operation and preventive maintenance of ASS and AT installations.
